The railway signal cable monitoring system is designed to track operational status, perform diagnostics, and enable integrated management of railway signaling cables. Key monitoring parameters include electrical characteristics such as ground insulation, inter-line insulation, and core wire loop resistance; environmental conditions like temperature/humidity levels, light exposure, vibration, water immersion, and grounding performance of underground lead wires within cable enclosures; as well as electrical parameters including ground currents and temperature readings from primary/secondary terminal armorings and aluminum sheaths. By analyzing these data, the system identifies cable aging patterns and localized defects with early warning capabilities. Integrated with comprehensive technical documentation and cable routing diagrams, it prevents signal equipment failures caused by cable or enclosure issues. The system also enables precise identification and localization of faults including wire breaks, mixed wiring, and insulation defects, providing critical support for emergency response operations.(Details are in the attachment)
